For good consideration, Rent a Date for Charity Limited shall auction this celebrity on our site www.rentadateforcharity.com, and the celebrity shall agree to be auctioned on the following terms:

Definitions

Auction : means an auction (including a Celebrity Auction) conducted through this Website in accordance with these Terms and any documents referred to herein;

Bid : means the amount of money bid by a Bidder in an Auction;

Bidding: means the process of pledging a Bid in an Auction;

Bidder: means a User who bids in an Auction;

Celebrity Auction: means an Auction featuring a Celebrity Candidate;

Celebrity Candidate: means an individual celebrity who is featured in a Celebrity Auction and who has agreed to have their Profile and photograph listed on the Website and to participate in a date with the highest Bidder of the Celebrity Auction in accordance with these terms and any agreement entered into between RDC and the individual celebrity;

Content: means any content, messages, photos or Profiles submitted by Users through their Use of the Website;

Designated Charities: means the charities listed on our Website under the charity section seen here Designated Charities

Profile: means the information held by RDC about a Celebrity Candidate or another User who has also registered as a Candidate, such information having been submitted by the Candidate concerned or in the case of a Celebrity Candidate by the individual celebrity themselves or by their agent with the individual permission of the celebrity;

RDC: means Rent a Date for Charity Limited

Terms: means these terms and conditions and all other documents referred to herein;

"Website": means the website www.rentadateforcharity.com

Section 2 Available Dates
Celebrity Auctions are live for 6 weeks. As soon as your profile and venue have been approved your details will be uploaded onto the auctions. Your profile will appear on the site but will not become LIVE until the date agreed. Bidders will not be able to bid on your date until such time; however they will be able to view your profile. Please give 3 dates and times which are available to you for the actual date to take place. Please try to spread these available dates over a 3-4 month period. This will allow RDC to organise events and publicity and distribute the auctions evenly. RDC will confirm the chosen date within 7 days of receipt.

We offer FREE advertising space on both the celebrity profile and Date Gallery for all venues offering FREE meals and/or events. The Date Gallery offers permanent advertising space. RDC will call the venue to confirm the date upon completion. Please ensure that when booking your venue all dates referred to in Section 2 are preliminarily booked. We will also require the Venue’s LOGO in JPEG format for publication on our site please send this to us via email.

Section 7 Auction Confirmation
This part must be electronically signed by the celebrity or the celebrity agent. Once we have confirmed your dates for auction this page will be emailed back to you with our signature indorsed and confirmation details. I, the celebrity/celebrity agent, hereby confirm my acceptance to become a Celebrity Date Candidate in the live auctions on Rent A Date For Charity’s website. I/we will adhere to the terms and conditions contained within. I, the celebrity/celebrity agent will endeavour to encourage as much publicity for the purposes of raising as much awareness and funding for the designated Brain Tumour Charities for and on behalf of RDC and will keep RDC informed of this progress. I/we will send, via email, a minimum of 3 JPEG images for my profile. I/we give permission for RDC to use these images at their own discretion in accordance with the terms and conditions of the site.
