Founded by the inspirational Lisa Connell, who, when diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2006, with grit and determination created and developed Rent A Date For Charity.

It is our aim to raise £1million for charitable causes, which are close to Lisa’s own heart and who perhaps are overlooked even when in need of the most help.  We hope through the work we do to be able to call ourselves “Guardian Angels” to those we help.

As an organisation it is our core social responsibility to raise the all important funds for the charitable causes we support.  Plus in many cases, more importantly it is also our aim and purpose to raise the profile of those causes and/or individuals.

Rent A Date For Charity is a non for profit business which enables us to be flexible in how and when we react and respond to those in urgent need of help and support for their cause.  We aspire to enrich the lives of the worthwhile causes we support through our fun and entertaining initiatives and campaigns such as our exciting online celebrity auctions and our own event management initiative "Guardian Angel Events”.

Over the past 3 years our successful bidders have enjoyed once in a lifetime dates / experiences with household names including Raj Harkishin (Coronation Street’s Dev) and I’m A Celebrity star, Nicola McLean.

To participate in the online auctions you are required to register your interest by paying a small donation of £5.  This is a one off payment and will allow full access to any of our featured auction listings.

Let's Party! 

The latest addition to the Rent A Date For Charity stable is our event management initiative, which we call Guardian Angel Events.

To date our regular events have featured our new and immensely successful Spiritualist Nights, as well as our fun and highly popular Rent A Date For Charity Nights.  These fun filled evenings have included charity auction events amid the buzz of some of London’s most exiting bars and restaurants. One such event was recently seen on the BBC3 programme “Cherry Goes Dating”.

The Guardian Angel Events team is also involved with the management of some very special Charity Balls, where our signature Rent A Date For Charity Auctions have been the highlight of the night.  Thanks to the generous support of our lovely celebrity friends we have raised a significant amount for the charitable causes.
